Visiting New Orleans, Louisiana for the weekend was quite interesting. You can truly see the history and the french influence through the architecture of the buildings. It’s a quite unique city with so much character. Walking during the day was my favorite part. Sight seeing, listening to street jazz and instruments played by many talented locals and stopping to grab something to eat at mini cafés and restaurants were probably the highlights of our visit. Also, don’t forget their mini cute boutiques at garden district. Interested with the history? Visit the ghost tour and voodoo store ;)

Much love,
D&C

A lot of the architecture is actually Spanish influence! We were owned by France, Spain, France again, and then the US. In Nola, there was a devastating fire during Spanish rule, so many of the historic buildings standing today were built during that time. It’s a cool mix of everything in this state! :)

I just want portraits of my dogs everywhere.
